WaySync-M, short for WaySync-Mobile, is a mobile application designed for real-time diagnostics and performance evaluation of traffic signal timing plans. This innovative tool allows users to simulate signal controllers on their mobile devices, replicating the exact timing plans used in the field. For users dealing with actuated coordinated signals, WaySync-M offers advanced features like geo-referencing and dynamic time-space diagrams to identify and address common issues such as phase early return, transition errors, clock drifting, and offset discrepancies. It serves as a valuable supplementary tool for enhancing the timing of coordinated traffic signals.

The integrated dynamic time-space diagram with vehicular trajectory tracking significantly improves the diagnosis and performance assessment of coordinated traffic signals.
